Environment update: Burney Street Garden

Local residents may have observed significant improvements in the Burney Street Garden in recent weeks. These have been carried out by Jonathan Stollar and organised by the Society and the Royal Borough of  Greenwich. The works to date has involved considerable cutting back and shaping shrubs defining the flower beds and removing rubbish (including bags of human waste). We are planning further planting and improvements in the autumn transforming it into a pleasant space in which to linger. Many thanks to all involved!
